Our School Garden

Monday, 21 September 2020

Thank you to Mr Padotan and our Year 4 children who helped to ‘dig out’ the potatoes that we have grown in our sustainable school garden.

We have donated some of the potatoes, and we will also cook some in school!

The children loved this job and learning all about growing our own healthy food.

School Council

Monday, 21 September 2020

During the past week children across school have been busy preparing speeches and posters to apply for the role of school councillor.

The children have been very excited in school preparing for the vote and will find out later this week who has been successful.

Thank you children for once again using your own time to prepare to run for this important role of responsibility in school.

The Big Clean 2020

Monday, 21 September 2020

On Friday 18th September, our children took part in the annual Big Clean, although this year with a difference! Instead of being able to help collect litter in the local community, due to the current restrictions we mainly focused on our school grounds.

The children still had a great time and were delighted to help our school to stay as tidy as ever!

Thank you children!

Health and Wellbeing

Monday, 7 September 2020

As we return to school following the partial closure, we have started the year by focusing on the health and well-being of all of our children. The children have taken part in lots of activities that promote living healthily and having a positive mind. We have also discussed the importance of sharing worries and concerns that the children may have. The children can share their worries with many adults throughout the school day and during ‘Time to Talk’ sessions.

Take a look at some of our displays around school promoting health and well-being!!

Welcome back to school to all of our families – we have missed you!
